Time for a Treasury Challenge!!

                     If you could be anyone for one day......


As a great lover of history, the individuals that shape its path are a real fascination to me. In a moment of day dreaming, I began to wonder what it must have been like to be in one of those person's shoes; even just for a day.

So this month's challenge is to create a treasury based on one individual (now or possibly in the past), whose day you would have loved to have been able to experience.  It might be your favourite musician, a hero of yours, or even a fictional character. The possibilities are endless!! 

Here are a few items linked with a person that I would simply love to have been for a few hours - Audrey Hepburn, in 1953, filming 'Roman Holiday' in Italy.  What an incredible time she must have had!!

Time for a Treasury Challenge!!!

                                  

                         For the Love of Books

Inspired by Lois's Positivity Team forum thread all about reading- what we like to read, our favourite books, and what we are presently reading, I felt the urge to do this month's Treasury Challenge on one of my favourite books- 'Little Women.'

Against the backdrop of the American Civil War, a family of women strive to live the best way they can in difficult times.  I see them as great examples of trying to live in a positive way; although there isn't much money around, they 'make do', and try to be grateful for the little that they do have. They grow in love for one another, and cherish life with all its obstacles.

Treasury Challenge Time!!

                                                  'Follow Your Bliss...'


I feel so very lucky to be able to 'follow my bliss' through the realisation of my Etsy shop, and spend each and every day doing what I love.  Yet for me I also find my 'bliss' in reading, making my own clothing, and watching 40s and 50s movies. We each have our own individual character, and our uniqueness needs to be treasured and celebrated!!!


So the treasury challenge this month is to create a treasury that expresses your own self- a few of your favourite things. I promise you that it will put a smile on your face- searching for mine did!!!

It's Time for a Treasury!!!

Hello, Positivians!!! It's time for another Treasury Challenge!

While Autumn has blown in for some of us, Summer is in full swing elsewhere, and it's only beginning to be Spring in other parts of the world, Holidays are ALWAYS coming this time of year!

One of my favorite holidays {although Christmas is my first favorite}, is Halloween! 

When else do you get to dress up as something from your imagination, and are given a license to eat as much candy & cider and donuts as you want??? ;)

A search for the term "Halloween" pulls up 129,276 items!

Thinking all along that I was born in the wrong era, I have created a Treasury to reflect my love of all things vintage entitled: All Hallow's Eve of Yesteryear

2. Create a Treasury {don't forget to tag it with "positivity team"

3. Come back here and post a link to your treasury in the comments!

Treasury Challenge - "Weather"

Happy Wednesday, Team!

It's time for this month's Treasury Challenge.

Here's how it works:

Once a month, we team administrators will choose a theme to base an Etsy Treasury on.

Once we announce the theme, we encourage team members to create a Treasury on Etsy.

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

If you've never created a Treasury before, it's not too complicated

and is a really fun process!

1. Search for items you love. Add them to your favorites.

2. Click on "Treasury" on the lower left side of Etsy's home page.

3. Then click on "Create a Treasury List" in the upper right hand corner.

4. Once there, a blank template will pop up where you can enter Listing URLs . . . these can be either the address or the listing number {this works best when you have 2 internet tabs pulled up, so you can copy from your favorites in one tab and paste them into your treasury in the other tab}

5. Don't forget to give your Treasury a title and SAVE it!

6. {optional} Convo the sellers whose items you have featured to let them know they've been featured in a Treasury . . . don't forget to include a link to the Treasury

Okay, so, the next part of the challenge is easy . . .

Choose 16 items to feature in your Treasury.
